Why do we require your real contact information?
If you allocate Helping Hands to a Project that is produced and financially successful, you may be entitled to receive a cash payment (see “Terms of Service”). We will make two (2) attempts to notify you of a payment from the contact information you have provided. If after two attempts we are unsuccessful in reaching you, your payment will be forfeited. So it is not only important that you provide us with real address and identity, you are also responsible for keeping your contact information current and up-to-date.
Feedthearts.com will never contact you by telephone to solicit personal or financial information. Should you ever be contacted by telephone by anyone representing themselves with Feedthearts.com you should not comply with the call, contact us and contact your local police authorities.
It is your option to allow us to communicate with you directly, we will need to reach you for important matters like payments to you etc, therefore we leave it to be your option to receive emails from us.
If we do send emails, we intend to keep these emails to a minimum. Our goal is to also to keep you updated on items going on with the site and we do this with a bi-monthly newsletter, again it is your option to receive these notifications or not.
You will also receive certain email notifications (forwarded messages, etc.), for which you may opt-out.
We may send you service-related announcements when it is necessary to do so.
We may send you security-related announcements if and when necessary to do so.
Project Creators receive the email addresses of their backers if, and only if, the project is successfully funded.

Project Creators
By entering into our User Agreement, Feedthearts.com Project Creators agree to not abuse other users' personal information. Abuse is defined as using personal information for any purpose other than those explicitly specified in the Project Creator’s Project, or is not related to fulfilling delivery of a product or service explicitly specified in the Project Creator’s Project. Project Creators found to having abused private information may be terminated immediately from Feedthearts.com with or without notice and this will also result in the immediate forfeiture of any Helping Hands allocated or earned.
Your Consent
By submitting your information, you consent to the use of that information as set forth in this policy. This Privacy Policy may be updated, edited or altered by Feedthearts.com from time to time, reflecting interests of our community or any changes in law . Changes to our privacy policy will be posted prominently on the website. Continued use of our Website 30 days after changes are posted will signify that you agree to any such changes.
To modify or delete any or all of the personal information you have provided to us, please log in and update your profile.
People under 14 are not permitted to use Feedthearts.com , and so this privacy policy makes no provision for their use of the site.
